In regards to fly fishing in BC, our northern winters allow us time to take stock of what we have, replenish supplies, re-organize tackle boxes and plan for this year's fishing trips. If you are like me, you took your fishing gear out of your vehicle after your final trip and put it into hiding for next season. Let me tell you, next season is almost here!

OLithium Ion (Li-Ion) - This was the latest battery technology before lithium polymer. They have a higher power density than NiMh and NiCd batteries. Li-Ion batteries generally come standard with most phones. For most people, this battery technology represents the best combination of size, capacity, and value. These types of batteries don't suffer from the poor memory effect and can be recharged anytime.

In the RC boats sale, you'll find models in a wide array of sizes. The smaller ones can be just a few inches in length, while the bigger ones can be positively gargantuan reaching up to several feet. The choice will depend on how and where you plan to use the boat. A little one will be fast and easy to carry around but may not perform well on rough waters. A bigger, heavier one will need a powerful engine and will be difficult to move from place to place but it can handle a bit of turbulence much better. Most tournaments place restrictions on the weight and dimensions of entries so read up if you plan lithium ion stocks on joining any of them.

Avoid deterioration from heat. Lithium-Ion accumulator cells used in today's notebooks are extremely vulnerable to heat. The notebooks are designed in a way that they drive heat away from the battery, but there are steps you can take yourself. Never close the lids on the bottom side, you can easily do that by putting them on a firm surface instead of your legs. Don't push them all the way in to the wall or against the wall with their exhaust lids as this is equally dangerous. Avoid direct sunlight whenever you can, choose a spot in your room where sun doesn't shine on the computer directly.

ONickel Metal Hydride (NiMh) - Popular battery about 1-2 years ago. They are lighter than Nickel Cadmium batteries, but heavier than Lithium mines Ontario batteries. These should be cycled once in a while for optimum performance.

You cannot use the phone whilst initially charging. You can use the phone whilst charging even during the initial charge with no damage to the battery.

Third, it is quite important to fully charge the battery every time, also to run the battery to be empty every time. The reason is the battery will lose charge day after day if the battery in your notebook is a nickel metal hydride. Therefore, your battery will dies a certain days later and you need to order a new one. Your work will be affected and money will come out of your pocket. Shortly, you can keep your battery in a good condition for a long time if you do as what have mentioned above.
